Posted By: KK on 11/22/10 5:58 PM | Categories: What the Chairs Wear
This weekend we have been asked what to wear to the third annual Paradise Casino in Palm Beach and held at the Flagler Museum on Friday November 26. The Paradise Fund was started by a group of students and young professionals in 2005 to fund projects that benefit child health and welfare, both locally and internationally. For this high-stakes black tie event, we picked our favorite and festive gold dresses of the season! These gilded beauties are divine for this season as they are simply perfect for any festive fete from a holiday party at NYC’s hot spot Boom Boom Room at the top of The Standard Hotel, to a New Year’s Eve affair. We love soft drape of this Tory Burch cocktail dress especially when paired with glittery sandals and clutch and scrumptious Ivanka Trump Collection jewels. I wonder what we will be asking for this Christmas… (hint, hint!) For tickets and information please visit The Paradise Fund.

Here’s an age-old question for the upcoming busy travel season: What to wear in the airport security line? Pat Down or body scan – the choice is all yours – the trick is to be stylish yet comfortable and ready to kick off your shoes at a moment’s notice. A simple cardigan and scarf or wrap with a roomy bag complete your look. While the airport security line might always remain a bore, at if you know what to wear, the whole process might go just a little bit more smoothly. What to Wear: Zadig & Voltaire
Posted By: KK on 11/22/10 12:57 PM | Categories: What to Wear
We went downtown to Soho to do a bit of holiday shopping and visited our beautiful friend, Charlotte Assaf, at Zadig & Voltaire’s new NYC store on Mercer Street. Charlotte took us through the highly versatile Z et V collection to perfect that utterly chic thrown-together but put-together Parisian look. Layering is key to all winter wardrobes and we love that effortless style of pairing sweaters with blazers, jeans and dresses. This fab gold-knit dress can be worn with a well-cut Z et V blazer thrown over it, and even would look smashing with heels for an evening out at Jean-George’s Mercer Kitchen at the Mercer Hotel, one of the Andre Balazs’ properties and dubbed “the hottest hotel in New York,” according to Vogue Magazine. We found tons of accessories which are ideal holiday shopping gifts, so head to Mercer between Houston and Prince to stock those stockings.
Left to Right all from Zadig & Volatire: Charlotte outside the very cool Z & V changing rooms, Gold Knit Rosa Bis Dress, Stella Court Shoes, Raccoon Collar, Ines Bag with Removable Chain
What to Wear: Dressing for Thanksgiving in the Country
Posted By: KK on 11/19/10 12:32 PM | Categories: What to Wear
With turkey day just around the corner, W2WW has been asked, “What to wear for Thanksgiving?” While everyone has their own Thanksgiving traditions, ours is in upstate New York and it begins with a long morning walk with the dogs in the countryside. Thanksgiving Dinner is with family and friends for a leisurely afternoon feast that lasts for hours over great food and conversation. For what to wear, we took our cue from the muted, heathered hues of the November landscape and picked some wonderful camels, brown and greens. Since it is deer season in the hills, a punch of orange, like this Hermes scarf is always recommended. We love these cozy sweater knit dresses from Ralph Lauren that will keep you toasty when the temperatures drop and the earthy Kara Ross Jewelry to compliment the looks. If you want to get a jump on Cyber Monday, visit our Holiday Sales and find something for everyone on your list. And remember, when click through our site to shop, 25% of our profit from retail sales will be donated to organizations that help women and the environment.
Please send us your traditions and you favorite Thanksgiving recipes to share. If you want a recipe for the Absolute Best Apple Pie that we have been making annually for over twenty years, just send an e-mail and we will get it out to you in plenty of time to make it part of your tradition too.
