Travel: Top 10 Best Travel Bags

It is a matter of personal preference but we tend to favor the wheelies. It was after a trip to Venice, struggling over all the small bridges that made us switch and never go back! You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a great bag. Our favorite for skiing or safari is the LL Bean Zip Bottom Duffle. The bottom compartment is perfect for slacks, skirts and dresses while the zip pouches on the side are useful for toiletries and miscellaneous items. Bric’s is also a classic choice, and if you're in the market for a more colorful option, we love T. Anthony's bright purples and reds that come in a variety of models.

Clockwise: T. Anthony Weekender ($219) and Wheeled 1 Suiter ($695), Bric's Micro Suede Travel Bag ($375), L.L. Bean Sportsman's Drop Bottom Rolling Bag ($199), Samsonite Mobilite Collection ($240-$340), Diane von Furstenberg Ikat Box Bag ($148), D&G Rolling Suitcase ($1,030), J. Crew Da Vinci 72-Hour Travel Bag ($695), Top Shop Large Trolley Suitcase ($145), Salvatore Ferragamo Gamma Overnight Bag ($1,200)
