Thursday April 15, 2010 will mark the grand opening of the iconic American designer, Ralph Lauren's first Parisian store on 173 Boulevard Saint Germain.  As Paris is the epicenter of all things fashion, this proves to be quite the coup for the creator of the classic looks so symbolic of the United States.  We chose a timeless yet Paris-worthy look from Ralph Lauren's Blue Label to celebrate springtime in Paris.  Channeling the 1951 film, An American in Paris, we went with an ultra feminine pink silk dress, paired with classic Americana accessories from pearls to tan leather shoes, bag and belt.  You can hear Gershwin's sonata drifting across the Seine.  Bienvenue et Bonjour to the preppy Parsian!

Ralph Lauren Silk Dress ($398), Ralph Lauren Ricky Sunglesses ($250), Ralph Lauren Ombre Wrap ($48), Ralph Lauren Traveler Bag ($2,195), Ralph Lauren Chaia Sandals ($450)
