Travel: April in Paris

Claude Monet's painting Les Coquelicots a Argenteuil visually defines the season of spring, from the blooming poppies to the wind-wisped clouds; one can almost feel the warm breeze pulling at the parasol.  We used Monet and this floral print dress by Tory Burch as inspiration for our springtime look.  As the print speaks for itself we kept the accessories on the neutral side.  Cinch the dress with a belt, like this waist-defining one from Topshop to elevate your look.  We added this BESS leather jacket and Denis Colomb shawl to keep the breezes at bay.  Wedges are a great way to elongate the legs without the pain of a pump, love these cafe-creme-colored ones from Pour la Victoire that will keep you looking good while strolling outside.  Get the full poppy-field-effect with these beautiful Chloe gilded petal earrings and necklace.  When in Paris make sure to visit the Musee D'Orsay to see Monet's "Poppies of Argenteuil" in person, take caution as time flies when your standing in front of a  Monet.
