Sports and Fitness: Fly Fishing

Sping is the perfect time to get back to or to start fly fishing.  Haven't gone in so long – it's like starting over so I went to the Orvis website which has the most helpful chat service.  I was referred to Patrick K, a Fishing and Hunting Specialist who suggested the Pro Guide Waders and a bunch of other great gear.  He asked my level then suggested the Clearwater 905-4 tip flex that comes with a reel loaded with line and backing.  After telling him the locale of my "secret spot" in Upstate New York, he even recommended some flies – just have to love those Wooly Buggers.  For more information on the subject, you can also go to Trout Unlimited, the preeminent organization with 400 chapters nationwide and a mission to conserve, protect and restore coldwater fisheries. See the W2WW shooting and fishing page for more ideas!
