Travel: Summer in Aspen

There are so many glorious things to do in Aspen in the Summer – hiking, biking, fly fishing, rafting and on and on.  Our personal favs are hiking the Ute Trail up Ajax Mountain, the Aspen Music Festival, the Aspen Institute’s Aspen Ideas Festival going on through July 11, and dinner and dancing at the Caribou Club. And we never tire of strolling around this charming Victorian cowboy town with so many great shops, galleries and restaurants. What to wear in Aspen? For day wear, we like the layered look of our Athleta apparel to be ready for your inevitable healthful pursuit and by night, a casually chic ensemble that will take you anywhere. We love this outfit  from Ralph Lauren for its versatility and comfort – It will literally go from plane to the opening of Jennifer Barlett’s show at Baldwin Gallery, with just a change of shoes!
