Cure by Design DC

The American Cancer Society (ACS) Metro DC and the Benefit Committee have put together a  fashion event worth traveling for: Cure by Design DC Fashion Benefit, honoring cancer survivor models, who demonstrate every day the progress being made in the fight against cancer and a message of hope for a cure.  It will take place on Friday, June 22 in the Atrium of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center with cocktails at 6:30 pm followed by a 7:30 pm Fashion Show.  With a Benefit Committee of nearly 70 led by Chairman Emeritus and Cure by Design Founder Alex Garfield, we have no reservations in setting our sights high for this worthy event. Contact Terrianne Zeifman at 301.982.2129 or for more information and to purchase tickets.

For what to wear, when an event calls for Business Fashionista, we turned to Nordstrom to shop for Business Attire that could stylishly transition from desk to dusk.  Just love these power-packing sheaths in trendy color blocking to get you noticed in the well heeled crowd.  Ditch the flats and tote and rise to the occasion in a pair of strappy sandals or pretty platform pumps!
