The Friends of New Yorkers For Children are hosting the 19th Annual Spring Dinner Dance, New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Fête on Tuesday, April 10th at the Mandarin Oriental. Celebrate Asia Week New York with the Asia Society’s exciting signature Benefit Gala Monday, March 19th at The Plaza Hotel. The evening opens with a chic 1930′s Shanghai nights-themed cocktail reception featuring music by the LeZhang Quartet, Asian-inspired tastings, and exclusive couture. The elegant dinner in the Grand Ballroom will offer stunning and unique table top decor, culinary delights by Danielle Chang of LUCKYRICE, and dancing to the cool sounds of Donna D’Cruz. Now in its fourth year, this gala evening presents art, fashion, cuisine, music and design from across Asia in one festive and glamorous black-tie setting. Hippity hop, hippity hop to the best family party of the season! For 20 years, The Society of MSKCC‘s Associates Committee has hosted the much-anticipated annual Bunny Hop, which heralds the arrival of spring. This years 21st Annual Bunny Hop will take place on Tuesday, March 6th at FAO Schwarz and is sponsored by Tiffany & Co. The Co-Chairmen are Kate Doerge, Chiara Edmands, Blair Husain, and Palmer O’Sullivan. Proceeds from the Bunny Hop benefit a pledge to raise $2 million over five years for the Pediatric Family Housing Endowment, which pays for overnight stays at nearby accomodations for children and their families when they are receiving treatment at Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s renowned Department of Pediatrics and are unable to afford this expense themselves. The School of American Ballet is hosting the 7th Annual Winter Ball on Monday, March 5th at the Lincoln Center David H. Koch Theatre with a Russian theme of high drama and glamour.
